CRYSTAL glass ball pendant produced by Danish LYFA in collaboration with Swedish Orrefors in the 1960s.

Charming series in cola and amber glass light with inner pressed white cylinder shade and thick glass bottom.

Ball shaped crystal glass lamp, made up of two crystal glass shades and a thick amber glass base. The spherical outer glass shade is colored a beautiful cola colour and decorated with round "crater" (indentations) pattern all round it, making for an adorable and tactile shape. The inner core glass is clear (crystal) in color, and features a faceted ornamentation pattern - for scattering and diffusing of light. The amber base ads to the lights pattern - and also acts as housing for the bulb mount, and securing of the two shades in place. The light can be disassembled easily to be cleaned.

The lights journey through the double crystal glass parts, both richly textured, makes for a soft diffused ambient light, with a very soft pattern of light dots reflecting the "crater" texture onto the surrounding space. The open top leaves a direct flow of light upwards.

This beautiful crystal glass accent light can be placed anywhere - cozy up the bedroom, or welcome guests with it in a hall way/entrance area - or in a window as traditionally placed in Sweden. ---------------------------------------------
