This is a vintage cup from the KAARNA series by Arabia Finland.
KAARNA means "bark" in Finnish and it is reflected in the textured surface of this teaopot.
The embossed circle pattern is covered by a matte brown glaze. This is a great piece of Scandinavian pottery and will add to a cost atmosphere in your home.
The KAARNA line is designed by Ulla Procope who worked for over 30 years for Arabia, this is one of her many sought after designs.

What shipping options are there?
All items are shipped with Post Nord and sent standard mail if they are under 2kg. If you would like insurance and a tracking number for your package you must purchase one at the checkout. I am not responsible for late or missing packages without tracking numbers.
I am happy to combine shipping and will refund any shipping overages directly.
Please note if your package is delayed it can be for a number of reasons with the postoffices in contact with the package. See the guidelines below from when the post office considers an item officially "lost".
If there is ever a problem with your item please contact me within 14 days and I will try my best to fix it.

I am especially fond of Arabia Finland cups and mugs. Aesthetically lovely and without too much 'fuss'in design, they're solid, balanced, and feel comfortable to hold. I have yet to meet one I don't like. This little vintage gem was photographed beautifully and had an interesting history included in the description. I knew, even before I placed my order, that this attention to detail meant that I was dealing with an excellent seller. And I was right. Julia is quick to respond, ships fast, packages very securely and my mug was attractively wrapped. Icing on the cupcake detail: an enclosed personal note written on the back of a Swedish postcard (now on my fridge!). My wonderful mug, those extra 'details' and a lovely, curated shop, all guarantee that I am going to be a returning customer. Thank you so much, Julia.
